My daughter’s wedding here. So far the staff meetings have been the been the highlight of my work week.
What inspires you?
A 30 # King Salmon ripping line off my reel on a remote river in the Olympic Rain Forest. Coffee strong and black! The sweet presence of Jesus whispering into my heart.

Delight, our night of worship was such a great experience for me, and for all of us involved in making it a sincere night of passion, reflection, and adoration. There is something so profound that happens when people who love Jesus come together to meet with him!
Hmm . . . everything, and I mean everything. Except Screamo. But I really find myself quite drawn to Hillsong, Hillsong United, Sara Groves (her music really moves me), Nicole Nordeman, Stevie Wonder (and Earth, Wind and Fire and anything with an R&B/true funk/soul feel), Coldplay, U2, and ANYTHING BLACK GOSPEL STYLE (and don’t forget my extensive collection of Christmas music)!!
What movie could you watch a thousand times?
Definitely: While You Were Sleeping and Beauty and the Beast and Sense and Sensibility and Frequency and Conspiracy Theory. I’m not good with short answers.

Staff friendship, the small group, hanging out with students, Christmas youth choir, our Willow Creek trip, meeting new people, spur-of-the-moment barbeques/beachtrips/bowling with Ignite, all of the sweet and funny people!
What inspires you?
Jesus’ life. Transformation. Powerful songs. Someone in love with what they do and aware of the difference that it makes. The inner-city and urban environments. Vibrant churches. Traveling. Listening and empathizing. Stories, life change, growth, learning, having a revelation, seeing chains being broken and hearts being poured out, deep conversations, my parents, reading a great work, drinking good coffee, art, playing the piano and writing songs, being near water.
Paul Simon's "Diamonds on The Soles of Her Shoes" - that song makes me smile. Kirk Franklin Presents 1NC - One Nation Crew - the sound is gripping and the messageof the project is profound in our culture today.

Being turned into a human ice cream sundae by the winners of last summer's BGMC contest. It was so much fun doing it and I love hearing them now still talk about it.
What inspires you?
The sound of waves on the shore, children laughing, kayaking around Lake Crescent, hugs from dear friends, dark chocolate.
