Welcome 5th and 6th Graders!
Basecamp is place where 5th and 6th graders learn to build their foundation upon God, and are beginning to prepare and equip for the lifelong journey of following the Lord. Basecamp is the place where we come back to each week and figure out what tools and things we need for the many journeys we go on throughout our week, and learn how to invite the Lord into each one.

Guideposts
In Basecamp, we have 6 different Guideposts that we will be following as we prepare for the Ascent. These are our markers that will lead us forward in our pursuit of the Lord and will help us Ascend the mountain.
- In Faith, ask God your questions (James 1:5, and Matthew 7:8)
- God is the source of Wisdom and truth (John 14:6, Proverbs 2:6, John 16:13, and Psalm 119:105)
- God is the way, and wants to be in relationship with you (Proverbs 3:5-6, Romans 3:21-26, and Psalm 23)
- God cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:5-7, and Matthew 6:31-33)
- Trust God in every Circumstance (Isaiah 41:10, Hebrews 13:8, and Proverbs 3:5-6)
- There is power in prayer and thankfulness (Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, and James 5:16)
